Whale TV has appointed Naguib Elkhangy as head of ad sales for emerging markets and Vanessa Delgado as head of ad sales for Latin America, DailyDOOH reported. Both executives are set to build and lead dedicated ad sales teams in their regions, bringing Whale TV Ads closer to local advertisers and agencies. Whale TV Ads offers in-stream video ads across ad-supported apps on Whale TV, including its own FAST service Whale TV+, and connected TV native inventory built into Whale OS, such as home screen placements and navigation tiles.
Chris Hock, vice president of Whale TV Ads, said the company’s advertising business turns its reported scale of 47.5 million monthly active TVs into value for TV brand partners, content owners and advertisers. He said connected TV growth is accelerating in emerging markets and Latin America, and that Elkhangy and Delgado would build teams to match local demand.
Whale TV Ads revenue tripled in 2026 compared with 2025. Whale TV Ads is the monetization engine of the Whale TV business, with sales leadership placed in the regions where the company is seeking commercial growth.
Elkhangy has more than 10 years of experience in digital media, programmatic monetization and connected TV, with a focus on MENA and OEM-led connected TV ecosystems. He most recently worked at ArabyAds and previously held roles at Gemini Media and Sarmady (Vodafone). His responsibilities at Whale TV cover commercial growth across MENAT and Sub-Saharan Africa, with a broader regional focus that includes Türkiye, Eurasia, APAC, SEA and ANZ.
Delgado joined Whale TV from AD Digital, where she led its FAST-streaming business. She has more than 20 years of experience in media technology and advertising across Latin America, including work at OTTera, MetaX, Omnicom Group and McCann. She is expected to develop advertiser and agency relationships across Latin America.
