UK DooH: Ocean Outdoor Adds 166 m² LED Screen in Leicester Square

Ocean Outdoor has launched The Curve, a 166 square metre LED advertising screen in London's Leicester Square, flanked by two existing portrait displays, with full-motion content limited to film premieres and selected events due to heritage status.
Ocean Outdoor has launched The Curve, a 166 square metre (1,787 square foot) large-format LED advertising screen in London's Leicester Square, the outdoor media operator said. The ClearLED display measures 17.28 metres wide by 9.6 metres high and carries a 4.4 mm pixel pitch. It is flanked by two existing portrait LED screens, each 2.88 metres wide by 12.8 metres high, giving roughly 240 square metres (2,583 square feet) of screen space for activations.
Leicester Square's heritage status constrains what can run on the new surface. Ocean Outdoor says full-motion and 3D content on The Curve will be limited to film premieres and selected cultural, community and charity events. The screen overlooks the pedestrian route into the square from Charing Cross Road and sits behind curved glazing in the facade of a building owned by West End property company Soho Estates.
"In the heart of one of the world's most famous entertainment districts, The Curve gives brands a presence surrounded by theatreland and some of the UK's biggest red carpet moments," said Nick Shaw, Ocean Outdoor UK CEO.
Ocean Outdoor puts the square's weekly footfall above 2.5 million, with more than 50 red carpet film premieres annually and about 40 million entries and exits a year recorded at Leicester Square Underground station.
The screen widens the company's London estate. Piccadilly Lights, its 783.5-square-metre (8,433 square foot) site, is a few minutes' walk away, and in September 2026 Ocean Outdoor and landlord Landsec paired that screen with The Venue, a three-floor experiential space directly beneath it.
