Samsung Displays Help Cincinnati Bengals Prepare For Game Day

The Cincinnati Bengals have equipped their training facility with Samsung Flip Pro interactive displays and 4K UHD LED screens to support coaching, player development and scouting operations.
The Cincinnati Bengals have outfitted their training facility with Samsung interactive displays and direct-view LED screens, giving coaches, players and scouting staff new tools for breaking down game film, game-planning and evaluating prospects, according to invidis.com.
The NFL franchise installed five Samsung Flip Pro interactive displays in staff offices, along with large-format 4K UHD LED screens in the weight room and other areas of the facility.
The organization describes the Flip Pro displays as enabling coaches to review footage, spot patterns and draw directly over video to diagram plays and formations. Annotations can be saved for later meetings rather than switching between laptops, whiteboards and separate presentations. Players can interact with the screens during team meetings, sketching their own reads and working through assignments alongside coaches, while position groups review previous games and discuss adjustments.
The technology also figures into the Bengals' scouting operations and NFL Draft preparation. During the league's Top 30 visits, when teams meet prospective draft picks, coaches can use the displays to diagram plays, gauge football knowledge and walk through hypothetical game situations. Elsewhere in the building, the 4K UHD LED displays run the team's custom scouting applications, letting staff review statistics, compare prospects and examine reports on larger screens.
Jake Kiser, the Bengals' senior director of information technology, said football operations run around the clock and place constant demands on the technology staff relies on daily. He credited Samsung's products with delivering the performance, innovation and reliability the organization needs — promotional language from an IT director about a vendor's products.
