Northwest Florida Beaches Airport Contract Renewal

Clear Channel Outdoor's Airports Division renewed and expanded its partnership with Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), DailyDOOH reported, with a three-year term, new digital media, and a terminal expansion slated for 2029 completion.
Clear Channel Outdoor's Airports Division has renewed and expanded its advertising partnership with Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), DailyDOOH reported. The agreement, first established in 2005 and reselected through a competitive process, runs an initial three-year term and comes as ECP undertakes a major terminal expansion and modernization project slated for completion in 2029. The airport served a record 1.9 million passengers in 2025, a 3.1 percent year-over-year increase, and offers nonstop and seasonal service on American, Delta, Southwest and United Airlines. Microbusinesses weighing similar visibility can start far smaller: a single screen in a storefront or service area, updated from a phone. A platform like Topaz Media (topaz.media) lets a small business run such content on any TV without extra hardware.
Partnership history and renewal terms
The renewed agreement follows two decades of operational performance. Under the new terms, Clear Channel Outdoor will make a significant investment in ECP's advertising infrastructure, with an option to renew. The program is intended to provide greater flexibility for advertisers while creating new opportunities for brands to engage travelers and support ECP's long-term commercial growth.
Morten Gotterup, president of Clear Channel Outdoor Airports Division, said the renewal reflects what a strong collaborative partnership produces over time. He added that as ECP invests in the next generation of its terminal, the company has an opportunity to invest into that experience and build something that reflects both where the airport is today and where it is headed.
Parker W. McClellan Jr., A.A.E., ECP's executive director, said that as the airport undergoes its major terminal expansion, the focus is on enhancing every element of the traveler experience. He said Clear Channel's commitment to investing in state-of-the-art digital infrastructure and experiential activations will modernize concourses and provide powerful new avenues for local and national brands to connect with the airport's growing passenger base.
Terminal expansion and new media program
The expansion creates an opportunity for Clear Channel Outdoor to invest more into the airport's advertising program with new digital media, experiential activations and refreshed displays.
The centerpiece of the new program will be a network of double-sided digital flags throughout the concourse, introducing dynamic content and a contemporary digital media presence that integrates seamlessly and enhances the terminal environment.
The investment will support the evolution of a curated and contemporary advertising program, with strategically positioned state-of-the-art media.
ECP has experienced growth since opening in 2010.
The airport serves large, leisure-oriented audiences, with travelers visiting Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast for vacations, weekend getaways and outdoor recreation.
ECP connects the region with major markets including Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, Denver, Houston, New York, Chicago and Baltimore.
