Adwave and Evergreen Digital Media Corp. announced a strategic partnership giving the DOOH operator a preferred license to run Adwave's WaveRunner platform for local advertisers.

Adwave, the company behind the AI-powered WaveRunner advertising platform, has formed a strategic partnership with Evergreen Digital Media Corp., a digital out-of-home (DOOH) media company operating across the United States and Canada. The deal, reported by DailyDOOH, gives Evergreen a preferred license to run WaveRunner for the local advertisers it serves, while Evergreen provides capital to fund continued development of Adwave's AI platform. Adwave retains ownership of the platform. For small businesses that have been priced out of streaming and cross-channel advertising, the partnership offers a more direct way into those channels through a DOOH operator's dealer network.

Under the agreement, Evergreen Digital Media Corp. will fund continued development of Adwave's AI platform. The financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed in the announcement.

In return, Evergreen takes a preferred license to run WaveRunner for the local advertisers on its DOOH networks, giving that advertiser base access to the platform's cross-channel buying capabilities.

WaveRunner creates, buys and runs advertising campaigns across streaming TV, Google, Meta, Reddit, and the web from one daily budget. The platform uses a business's own site data to optimize placement and spend, while managing every channel from a single account.

No agency or separate platform logins are required. Businesses can advertise across multiple channels without managing separate accounts or hiring external help.

Evergreen Digital Media Corp. is the parent company of DOOH media networks NTV360, N-Compass TV and OnPremise Networks. These networks deliver digital signage to local advertisers throughout the United States and Canada.

Many of these advertisers have historically bought media one channel at a time.

David Naffis, CEO of Adwave, said: "Evergreen Digital Media has built something real in the DOOH space, and we're glad to be working alongside a team with that kind of reach. We're looking forward to what this partnership produces."

Don Winfrey, CEO of Evergreen Digital Media Corp., said: "Adwave brings a level of talent and technical knowledge in the advertising AI space that's rare to find. We're excited to learn from this team as we bring that expertise into our networks."
