The Digital Place Based Advertising Association has confirmed the return of its flagship industry gathering, the 14th annual Global Video Everywhere Summit, set to take over Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers in New York City on Tuesday, October 13. The one-day event unfolds during the annual Out of Home New York week, which runs October 12–16 and has now been staged for 15 consecutive years. Registration has officially opened, and organizers have revealed that this year's program will be built around the theme 'Real Connections.'

Headlining the speaker roster is Anthony Scaramucci, founder and managing partner of SkyBridge and a former White House communications director, whose new book 'All the Wrong Moves' arrives from Macmillan in September. He will be joined by an executive-heavy lineup spanning multiple brand categories: American Eagle Outfitters CMO Craig Brommers, Expedia CMO Jochen Koedijk, Major League Soccer CMO Radika Duggal, Hisense CMO Sarah Larsen, Microsoft's Americas CMO Sydne Mullings, Stagwell Vice Chairman David Sable and Mediahub Worldwide U.S. CEO Nicole Estebanell.

The announcement lands as the sector rides a wave of momentum. Citing a PQ Media projection, DPAA notes global out-of-home revenues are expected to climb 15.3 percent this year, accelerating from the 12 percent growth recorded in 2025, with marquee sports properties including the FIFA World Cup and the Winter Olympics helping drive the surge. 'Creating authentic, real connections and conversations has never been more important,' said DPAA President and CEO Barry Frey, arguing the industry should apply that ethos not only to consumers but to the marketers, agencies and technology partners shaping the media ecosystem.

Across the roughly 1,000 attendees expected, conversations will center on how DOOH has matured into a driver of real business outcomes, real-world experiences and real-time buying and planning. Sessions are poised to explore in-store retail media networks, programmatic offerings, AI-powered tools, live experiences tied to major sports and entertainment events, and more sophisticated measurement options.

The event also builds on momentum from previous editions. Last year's summit drew representatives from brands such as Mastercard, Ikea Canada and Intuit Canada as well as NBCUniversal, and included an omnichannel session in which attention-measurement firm Adelaide and delivery platform Skip unveiled a new partnership, alongside a case study examining an out-of-home breast cancer awareness campaign that showcased advertising's social impact.

The Video Everywhere Summit anchors a packed week of industry activity. An invitation-only Newsmakers Dinner takes place the evening before, while the broader calendar includes the ARF Creative Effectiveness Conference, the David Ogilvy Awards Dinner & Reception and the OAAA's OBIE Awards, giving attendees a full slate of networking, deal-making and recognition opportunities.
