According to invidis.com, Viewsonic's Manuel Kirchesch is focusing on predictable LED projects through preconfigured walls, European inventory, and expanded field support.

Manuel Kirchesch, business development manager at Viewsonic, wants to make LED display projects predictable rather than risky, invidis.com reported. Kirchesch, who joined Viewsonic in July 2025 as business development manager for the DACH region of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, said the slogan reflects concerns that LED can seem complicated when planning details are missing. The report said Viewsonic has opened its first European Solutions Hub in London and that Kirchesch is set to become Business Development Manager dvLED Products & Solutions Europe in January 2027.

Kirchesch said successful LED integration starts before installation, with clear figures for structural loads, power, climate control and installation time. He recalled projects where architects, logistics centers and installers were not aligned, leaving problems to emerge on site. Viewsonic’s London Solutions Hub was designed so the technology is present but built into the space rather than displayed as a showroom, he said.

Viewsonic is centering its LED offer on preconfigured all-in-one walls that ship with the tools and spare parts needed to run a wall over its lifetime, Kirchesch said. To address tight customer deadlines, the company is stocking inventory in the Netherlands, with more than 300 preconfigured LED walls due to be ready by early December. Custom-configured walls will still be built to order. Kirchesch also cited higher air freight costs, saying rates have risen to US$10 to US$14 per kilogram from US$3 to US$5.

Starting in 2027, Viewsonic plans to add several field application engineers across Western Europe to train and certify partners, visit customers and assess projects, according to the report. The company also plans to decide in 2027 which site in mainland Europe will follow London in its Solutions Hubs network. Kirchesch said Viewsonic’s LED business has grown most in Western Europe.

The report also said chip-on-glass is expected from 2028 to help LED compete with LCD in meeting rooms, a target presented as part of Viewsonic’s product outlook. Kirchesch described the goal as avoiding surprises in planning, installation, sign-off and lifetime operation.
