PMA Research's latest sell-through tracking reports detail September gains in large-format flat panel display sales across Pro AV and distribution channels.

DailyDOOH reported Thursday, October 29, 2026, that PMA Research has published its latest sell-through tracking reports on large-format flat panel displays—those 32 inches and larger—sold by leading North American Pro AV dealers and AV/IT distributors serving commercial markets.

In the Pro AV channel, September unit sales among Pro AV dealers rose 16% after a decline in August, and year-over-year unit performance was up 35%. The report attributed the increased demand in part to falling prices. PMA Research's September Pro AV channel tracking also showed unit volumes up 11% during the first three quarters of the year. September's best-selling model was a 50-inch consumer TV, which the report tied to Pro AV dealers' continued move into lite-commercial and residential markets.

PMA Research's September 2026 Flat Panel Distributor Tracking report found that unit sales, which had been leveling off in recent months, rose again. Large-format flat panel displays over 32 inches grew by single digits in September compared with August, and revenues did as well.

In the distribution channel, the most popular consumer display screen size was 65 inches, which the report said was likely fueled by a drop in average prices for consumer-grade displays. Desktop monitors 32 inches and larger posted sell-through volume increases of 12% both month over month and year over year.

Professional display unit sales and revenues through distribution also rose by single digits month over month. All-in-One DVLED display unit sales increased 45% from the same period a year earlier.

The reports cover large-format displays sold by leading U.S. AV/IT distributors, Pro AV dealers and systems integrators.
