OptiSigns unifies device management and AI app building for digital signage

OptiSigns is expanding its digital signage ecosystem with two major initiatives: a Unified Device Management platform that merges meeting room administration with signage control, and an AI-powered application builder called OptiDev that generates signage apps from natural language prompts.

The Unified Device Management solution gives IT departments a single console for overseeing conferencing systems and digital signage displays simultaneously. A key feature allows organizations to repurpose idle meeting room screens as communication displays, extracting value from hardware that would otherwise sit dark between meetings.

On the content creation side, OptiSigns commercial director Felix Malchow detailed OptiDev, an AI app builder that turns simple prompts into fully functional signage applications within the OptiSigns portal. The tool aims to lower the barrier for network operators who need custom apps without deep programming expertise.

The company also showcased its latest OptiKiosk hardware lineup, which rounds out an offering that spans software management, AI-driven content generation, and purpose-built display hardware. Together, the announcements signal a push toward unified control planes that bring together device management, content authoring, and hardware under one roof.
