Jolt, the Australian digital out-of-home and electric vehicle charging network, has elevated Tim Debenham from Victorian sales director to a newly created national sales leadership position, tapping him to steer revenue strategy and sales team development across the country. The promotion comes as the global out-of-home advertising sector reaches new heights, with the World Out of Home Organization reporting a record US$54.2 billion in worldwide ad expenditure for 2025.

Debenham, who joined Jolt in 2022 after a tenure at News Corp in senior media sales roles, will continue to lead the Victorian operation while taking on enterprise-wide responsibility for revenue growth and team building. He reports directly to Jolt Australia Country Manager Stuart Moffat.

"Tim is a leader in every sense of the word. He knows JOLT inside and out, he understands what great work looks like, and he has the patience and craft to see it through," Moffat said. He highlighted Debenham's meticulous approach to partnerships, noting his willingness to work with clients for close to a year to refine a campaign to exact specifications.

The executive move lands against a backdrop of remarkable industry expansion. Global out-of-home advertising expenditure surged 15 percent year-over-year in 2025, crossing the US$54 billion threshold for the first time. Digital out-of-home now accounts for nearly half of all OOH revenue worldwide, underscoring the channel's accelerating shift from static billboards to programmatic, data-driven screens.

Jolt's network sits at the intersection of two high-growth sectors: DOOH advertising and EV charging infrastructure. As brands increasingly seek measurable, location-based audience engagement, networks like Jolt that combine charging utility with premium digital signage are well positioned to capture a growing share of ad budgets. Debenham's expanded mandate signals the company's intent to scale its commercial operations in lockstep with the broader market trajectory.

With a national sales structure now in place, Jolt appears poised to deepen its relationships with major advertisers while maintaining the patient, partnership-driven ethos that Moffat credits Debenham with embodying. The coming year will test whether that approach can capture share in a market that WOO data shows is expanding faster than most traditional media channels.
