The World Out of Home Organization (WOO), the global association for companies operating in the out-of-home sector, has added 13 new members, invidis.com reported.

WOO works to promote and improve the industry on behalf of its members. Its board includes JC Decaux, Blowup Media, Ocean Outdoor and Provantage, among others.

The new members include national media owners, out-of-home service providers, one national media agency and one national OOH association. London International Exhibition Centre (Excel) in the UK is among those listed.

Mark Flys, WOO's chief operating officer, said the range of territories represented demonstrates how OOH sectors worldwide understand the value of WOO membership. He added that it was particularly pleasing that APOAA from Pakistan had joined as WOO heads to Karachi for the Pakistan Country Forum on November 5.

WOO membership is open to all companies in the OoH sector. The organization is a non-profit that invests funds in industry issues such as research and its annual international congress. It is a member of EASA in Europe and a founding member of ICAS, and helps members with legislation issues in their own countries.
