Bishopp Outdoor Advertising has acquired JAM Outdoor, adding more than 450 advertising sites to its network, according to DailyDOOH. The publication describes Bishopp as Australia's largest privately owned out-of-home advertising company.
The deal brings JAM Outdoor's sites into Bishopp's existing network, which DailyDOOH says gives brands building regional campaigns — or extending national activity beyond the capital cities — a broader choice of locations. The acquisition follows Bishopp's expansion across Victoria and New South Wales, including the addition of Avalon Airport.
Dominic Lis, Sales Director of Bishopp Outdoor Advertising, told DailyDOOH: "Advertisers need to be able to approach regional Australia with a clear strategy. Our focus is on giving them the network and local understanding to choose the right markets and build campaigns around the communities they want to reach." He added that bringing JAM Outdoor into the network gives agencies and advertisers more choice through one provider, letting them plan and buy roadside and airport campaigns with a single regional partner and connect their local, regional and national objectives.
Bishopp characterises the enlarged business as combining regional expertise with the scale to support campaigns at local, regional and national level.
That framing aside, the practical effect stated by the source is straightforward: roadside and airport inventory that previously sat outside the group now sits within it, enlarging the site count available to advertisers planning across regional Australia.
