ViewSonic 4th generation mobile LED displays now available

ViewSonic Corp. is now shipping its fourth generation of mobile Direct View LED displays, according to a ViewSonic press release relayed by Digital Signage Today. The model, named LDS136-152, is a foldable 136-inch Direct View LED video wall built on wheels and delivered in a pre-assembled design.

The company describes the LDS136-152 as a large screen display in a pre-assembled configuration. The release states that the fourth generation introduces upgrades aimed at making setup and operation easier, though it does not name the specific changes or provide measurements, comparisons or test data behind that claim.

"The ViewSonic mobile dvLED solution delivers a giant LED screen that arrives ready to go, so our partners and customers can skip complex installations," said Brian Wei, identified in the release as head of product management at ViewSonic. The quote describes the vendor's stated intent for the pre-assembled, wheeled form factor; the release does not set out what remains in the way of assembly, power, cooling or on-site servicing.
