Chris Spearing Joins Audioscenic

Former Sony Consumer Division VP Chris Spearing has joined Audioscenic as CEO, bringing experience in partnerships, market development and distribution across professional and consumer-facing technology.
Chris Spearing, previously Vice President of Sony's Consumer Division, has joined Audioscenic as its new Chief Executive Officer, according to DailyDOOH. The appointment puts him at the head of a company whose technology has been moving through the consumer electronics, gaming and audio markets.
Spearing's background spans partnerships, market development and distribution across professional and consumer-facing technology. He has also held senior roles at PDP, Logitech and Microsoft in the audio and gaming sectors — areas where Audioscenic has established partnerships.
Audioscenic said the hire follows the 2026 launch of its Windows APO and its entry into Lenovo's Legion series. In his new role, Spearing will concentrate on sharpening the company's strategy, building key partnerships and extending the reach of Audioscenic's technology into new products, platforms and markets.
John Croteau, Audioscenic's Executive Chairman, said Spearing brings the commercial experience, industry relationships and partnership-led growth the company needs for its next stage. Croteau added that Spearing's grasp of consumer electronics, and his record of building businesses through strategic partnerships, would be valuable as Audioscenic scales.
The announcement was filed under DailyDOOH's Scuttlebut category, which carries personnel moves from across the digital out-of-home and display industries.
